Intel announces its new smartphone as Yolo phone. It is the first ever phone specifically desgined for the users of Kenya. This phone is powered by Android OS with pretty nice hardware.
Hardware:
This phone got 1.2Ghz Atom Z2420 CPU with 512MB of Ram, a 3.5-inch screen (320×480 resolution), a camera of 5MP, Android 4.0.4, and an internal 4GB of storage packed and can be expanded upto 32GB-microSD.
Benchmark:
With the AnTuTu benchmark app, the phone beats the score of Galaxy Note, Galaxy S-II and Galaxy Nexus and comes just after the Asus Transformer Prime’s score. This phone is a very good entry in the market with the performance vs price aspect.
Price:
The Yolo phone will be on sale via Safaricom with 500MB data bucket, enabling users to enjoy the power of web at HSPA+ speeds. This phone will cost around KEN 10,999 which is about US $126.
