VIA, has announced that they are bringing $49 Android based mini PC system to the market. This PC will be ARM-powered system and runs a custom build of Android 2.3 with a limited selection of apps installed (Browser, Email, Angry Birds, etc) with the ability to add more apps using a micro-SD card.

There were too many rumors about the versions of new upcoming Microsoft’s Windows 8 but recently Microsoft officially announced that Windows 8 will come in only four versions: One for home use, one for business, one for devices running ARM chips, and one for large enterprises that buy in bulk.

A roadmap of Nvidia’s next chip, the Tegra 4, could be internal future pack for Android and Windows tablets in Q1 2013.
