One of few other tech prototypes in CES 2013 which made people to clap was regarding the concept of Samsung’s Youm flexible-display technology. It was really impressive and enthralled everyone.
The concept of those screen will surely the step of near future of gadget’s inventions in the minds of innovative. We can seriously believe that we will be seeing that stuff in our coming versions of smartphones and even tablets.
Samsung presented a demo on stage of CES about the 5-inches screen in front of press media. They also brought the idea of bended screen of a phone which will be covered with casing but still the users can see the coming text messages and other few alerts on bended screen without looking a full screen of phone.
They will be using the OLED technology for the screens which they believe will have better quality in terms of contrast ratio and power efficiency as compared to some other LCD screens.
The price and release date for Youm flexible screens are yet not finalized by Samsung. Do watch out the video yourself and share your thoughts.
