A product was introduced in CES 13 by Kensington. The product is about the Proximo Starter Kit with the cost of $60. It works with your iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 to find and identify the location of the accessories of your phone and some other important items.
I am really good in forgetting my important stuff and keys at home or leaving the keys back in shop counter while leaving. So when I think about this product which actually helps the user to be connected with your keys and other items.
So how that is possible? According to macworld, “This kit comes with the items like “key fob” and a tag. The size of the fob is around 2 inches long, 1 inch wide, and it has thickness of around 0.25 inches; it also comes with a loop with which you can comfortably connect it with our key rings. It has also a button on front.
The fob and the tag, both works together and will be connected to your iPhone through a free iOS app by the name of “Proximo”. The connection of fob and tag is done with the help of Bluetooth. The Bluetooth version 4.0 is required for connection, so you can use this feature only in iPhone 4S and newer.
When you are done with the connection of your iPhone, now you are ready to do some settings. You can perform the settings related to types of sounds sets for the purpose of finding any item, or going away too far from the items. These are the sounds which will be alarmed from iPhone when it gets too far from the item.
The next part of setting is related to adjust the distance which you consider will be too far for you. For example if you want the sound go live when you go far from your item of around 20 feet then it should be activated.
