Latest leaked news describes about the Nvidia’s next generation 72-core Tegra 4 mobile processor codenamed as “Wayne”.
The GPU is built using 28-nm with a 4-Plus-1 Quad Core Eagle CPU and a 72-core GPU. The last Tegra 3 was built on 40-nm process. The +1 core on the CPU will be responsible for battery saving tasks. Nvidia will use 4 ARM Cortex-A15 cores for CPU. The graphics will be 20 times faster than the Tegra 2 and 6 times more faster than Tegra 3. This GPU will support resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 and 1080p up to 120Hz.
If this leaked news is true than we can expect support of USB 3.0 and a dual-channel DDR3L memory in it.
