It was not long ago when people were waiting for the introduction of iPad 3 and having their hands on it. Its in market now. People have started using it. You can find so many reviews, critics, and opinions on so many blogs and around. This time I want to discuss about the Apps which are mostly used by iPad 3 users. May be this article will help them who are planning to buy iPad 3 in future.
Since the new iPad is out, developers are working hard to bring exciting applications for iPad fans. If I say that the most discussed feature and most appreciated feature of new iPad is its Retina Display that would be very true. So Apple team and developers are focusing their efforts to develop something for this feature. Whenever you will see someone using iPad 3, you will find these apps from list.
Air Display is a useful utility that turns the iPad into a second monitor for any Mac or Windows PC. It connects to the PC wirelessly via Wi-Fi, and makes good use of the iPad’s Retina Display. The app has not been updated to fully support the Retina Display, but already renders the display in brilliance that makes a desktop monitor look downright bad. Note that Air Display is also available for some Android tablets, and in my tests is just as good as on the iPad.
The Angry birds and green pigs are back, and in full hi-def brilliance. Never has Angry Birds looked so stunning, and the new space gameplay is a big time-waster. Additional levels are available for purchase in the game for $0.99.
Logmein: The iPad display is perfect for remotely controlling any PC or Mac system, and Logmein is an outstanding way to do that. The interface is fully optimized for touch operation on the iPad, and make it possible to work as if you are sitting in front of the remote system.
Sky Gamblers – Air Supremacy: This game was released with the iPad 3, and had support for the Retina Display out of the box. It is an outstanding jet flight simulator that has been written to make it easier to fly using the iPad. I have to admit I am still not a great pilot using this method, but the game is so much fun I keep on trying.
Weather Live: I like a good weather app, and this one is simply gorgeous on the iPad screen. It gives a simple look at the immediate forecast, and has an animated background that reflects the current weather. It’s great to leave running with the iPad in the dock.
The new iPhoto app for the iPad impresses me more the longer I use it. The simple photo editing tools allow anyone to make a photo look its best with simple touch controls. It won’t replace a full version of Photoshop, but many will find it sufficient for their photo editing needs.
Skype: is not a new app but I find I use it a lot on the new iPad. The ability to keep in touch with family and colleagues remotely is a big boon, and the front camera of the new iPad works well with Skype. Facetime is a nice video chat app, but most of my contacts are running Skype so that is what I use most.
Mass Effect Infiltrator: There are games and then there are games that are totally immersive, and this one is a great example of the latter. The graphics are already stunning on the new iPad, without Retina Display support, and with headphones plugged in the game takes you away to battles far, far away.
iMovie: Those looking for a simple app to help make the best of those home movies should look no further than iMovie. It makes good use of the Retina Display to allow tweaking and improving movies for uploading to YouTube within the app. Surprisingly sophisticated movies and trailers can be produced with the tools in iMovie on the iPad.
Reeder: I spend a lot of time working with my Google Reader RSS feeds, and my favorite method to do so is with the Reeder app on the iPad. I can go through hundreds of feeds quickly, and zoom in on these nuggets of interest with ease. It fully syncs with Google Reader so there is no duplication of effort with Reeder.
Kindle: I read Kindle books almost exclusively, and the latest version of the app for the iPad takes full advantage of the Retina Display. The printed word has never looked so good on any screen, and is as sharp as can be. I can read Kindle books with smaller fonts on the iPad than any other device, making it much more like reading real books. The Kindle app makes working with large libraries very easy, and finding the right book to read is as simple as swiping and tapping on the screen.
I use the Evernote service on every computer and mobile device I use, and the iPad app is as good as they get. I can capture all sorts of information, from notes, photos, voice memos and online content. Once in the Evernote cloud my information is accessible on every device, and I am frequently accessing it on the iPad with the great app. I must admit I did not believe I would use the new camera in the iPad 3 much, but Evernote makes it a one click affair to capture images and other information using the camera. I am using it quite a bit as a result.
Tweetbot: A list of most-used iPad apps has to include Tweetbot, as I am frequently on Twitter using the app. The display is stunning and easy to read, and the touch interface makes it my favorite way to use Twitter.
Instapaper: I capture a lot of information online to read when I have time, and Instapaper is a great way to do so. I can flag any web page or article for Instapaper, and find it waiting for me in the iPad app when I am ready to read it. The app interface is very good, and the service works with other iPad apps allowing me to capture information from those apps for reading here.
