Surface from Microsoft is soon to be out. It’s already been announced in conference. Software giant has already started portraying this tablet as a new benchmark in future. But I want to ask that did they come out with that tablet o make a name in tablet market?
What features it’s got? What features can excite people? What it makes to change the ideas of people to move from Apple’s tablet? I will discuss on this some other time. But what I want to discuss at the moment is that why a operating system leader brought this tablet? Everyone knows about Windows 8 which will be coming in market in near future. I have already discussed in my earlier article that this operating system demands a tablet for proper functioning. So, I believe Microsoft is staging their plot and bring their secret weapons out to set a playground for their operating system.
Windows 8 needs a tablet. Here we got “Surface”. Steve Ballmer said and I quote “the Surface tablet sort of primes the pump for more innovation around Windows 8 and brings new technology to the Windows PC platform”.
Now if I quote the words of Acer founder “Stan Shih”, it also suggest the same concept. Shih said “Microsoft have no real intention to sell their Surface tablet PC’s and they are merely promoting the product as a ploy to boost the adoption of their upcoming Windows 8. They may also subliminally force their partners to enhance product development and to invest in new features and design concepts”.
When we talk about Windows 8, it is getting mix type of reviews from Tech groups. The big question still needs answered however, will the pubic accept it?
